The fourth of July was a blast at Alchemy. We gave the staff the day off and my business partner and I worked the room from the bar to the dining room. Our chef, Ricardo Heredia and Sous Chef Jeremy Reid came in to cook off an amazing BBQ for the day made up of Southern favorites. We had Carolina Ribs, Texas Jerk Chicken and Pulled Pork Sandwiches with corn on the cob and potato salad to boot. We served some good 'ol American beer and whiskey. The guests were great from our neighborhood and beyond. Here are a couple photos.

It was a little windy outside.

Picnic style !!

Our first ever BBQ customers, mmmm, good :) |

It is one of our goals at Alchemy to support the arts and those that promote the arts. We worked with the Museum of Photographic Art on their Vintage Event, a great time was had by all. And tonight we will be appearing at the Museum of Art event, Culture and Cocktails. In addition, we sponsor fundraisers around San Diego. This sunday we will be at the Westgate Hotel for an event titled "Wine & Roses".
In other Art News, we have a new artist on display. Grant Searcy has installed a koi fish series in the restaurant. The work is available for sale through Alchemy. |
